Our sustainability projects

Decarbonisation levers are strategic actions - such as improving energy efficiency, switching to renewable energy, optimising transport logistics, and using low-carbon materials - that help an organisation reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.

Read about our projects

The majority of Euro Pool Group’s emissions fall within scope 3, mainly from transport and purchased goods and services.

Our approach focuses on:

  • accelerating the shift to renewable and low-carbon fuels
  • improving load efficiency and reducing empty kilometres
  • supporting suppliers’ transition to renewable energy
  • increasing recycled content in packaging assets

These measures not only cut emissions across our network but also help our customers meet their own climate goals.

For Euro Pool Group, our decarbonisation levers are vital to lowering the carbon footprint of our reusable packaging solutions, aligning with circular economy goals and meeting growing customer and regulatory demands for sustainable supply chains.

These are some examples of EPG's decarbonisation levers.
